Women's Pregnancy Center

You have the opportunity to volunteer in ministry not just "Across the Streets" but on the same side of the street. The Women's Pregnancy Center is in need of about 30 additional volunteers for various time slots throughout the week.
Times the volunteers are needed are as follows:
Tuesday mornings, Wednesday evenings, Friday mornings, and especially Saturday mornings. You may also be interested in working in the supply closet during any day of the week.

This is a great ministry opportunity for stay at home mom's, retired people, or those just wanting to serve. On certain day's childcare is available.

Passports and Visas for International Travel

Do you need a Passport?

To go on any international mission trip you will need a valid USA Passport, or one from your home country.

Important facts: Cost: Over 16 years old =$97

Under 16 yrs =$82

After you apply, plan on it taking six weeks to receive.

Are you planning on going to Brazil on the Mission Trip?

If so, you will also need to apply for a Visa (However, we will address this in team meetings). The first step in this process is having a valid USA Passport, as you will send it to the Brazilian Consulate in Miami. This process is much faster. Point of this post: If you are planning on going on an international mission trip this year, don't wait to apply for or renew your passport.

Brazil Mission Trip 2007

On Sunday, January 14, we had three information meetings for the June 15-25, Brazil Mission Trip. If you missed and are interested in this trip please email PeterCunningham@roswellstreet.com or call the church mission office at 770-424-9847.

Many questions were asked and we are currently seeking information to discover answers. We know that the Lord will form the perfect team for this mission trip. The DEADLINE to submit an application is Wednesday, February 14. The most popular question is regarding cost. The past two years this trip has cost around $800 plus the cost of a visa. The price this year may be a little higher but it is our goal to do whatever it takes to help you become an On Mission Christian. Do not let finances be a problem.

Do not hesitate to contact the church missions office if you are interested in being a part of how the Lord will use us in Brazil. Last year we saw many people profess Christ and trained hundreds of church members in evangelism.

I do hope you will follow the leading of the Spirit and do whatever it takes and follow Him.

Builders for Christ Mission Trip -July 9-13

The Builders for Christ will be traveling to Reno, Nevada this summer to conduct a construction project with Sonrise Baptist Church on July 9-13, 2007. The first information meeting has been scheduled for Sunday, February 18. The meeting will be held in the deacon meeting room, this room is connected to the Worship Center and is just to the right of the stage. The meeting is set to begin at 7:15.

We will try to answer any questions that you have at this time. However the main purpose is to develop a list of those who are interested and introduce our program to new participants.
If you will not attend but you are interested, please let us know so we can keep you informed. If you have any questions, please send them to us at jbbmrb@comcast.net so we can help you.
As we said before please invite family, friends, co-workers, Sunday School class, neighbors, etc. to this meeting so we can increase our workforce. Prayerfully consider your part in this project and those you may invite. -Murl and Jane Bishop

People Sharing Jesus in Brazil, Mission Trip

• June 15-25 2007, you have the opportunity to join the People Sharing Jesus Mission Trip to Piracicaba, Brazil.

This will be a trip that will change your life. Just after the first of the year we will be having our first meeting for all those interested in this trip.

• Pray how the Lord will use you in reaching Piracicaba.

There are two levels of training available: Phase 1 Training and Phase 2 Training: Unit Director & Unit Certification

• Phase 1 Training: May 18-19, 2007, Holly Creek Baptist Church, 422 Holly Creek Cool Springs Rd., Chatsworth, GA 30705 DEADLINE: May 11, 2006

• Phase 2 Training: March 2-3, 2007, First Baptist Church, Woodstock, 11905 Hwy 92, Woodstock, GA 30188 DEADLINE: February 23, 2007
